


Dillon D. Watson, (a.k.a. Pryme Tyme) Singer and Songwriter born in the city of Kingston, Jamaica.
When Pryme Tyme was four, his mother took him to Bamboo, St Ann, Jamaica where he was brought up by his grandparents and began his early childhood education at the Bamboo Basic School. Many persons told Pryme Tyme that he is a very gifted/ talented and creative individual.
While attending Bamboo Basic School, Pryme Tyme was asked to perform at school functions and he was delighted with the response he received from the audience. By the time he was ready for primary school he had already decided on singing as a career. He began his primary studies at the Bamboo All Age School where he later sat the Technical Entrance Examinations and was successful. He then went on to further his education at the Marcus Garvey Technical High School.
Over time Pryme Tyme's love of music grew, especially his inclination towards the local Reggae/ Dance Hall genre, inspired by famous artists such as: Bob Marley, Barry White, Shabba Ranks, Beres Hammond and Denis Brown. He was known to be always humming or whistling tunes while doing chores or even walking. His whistling would attract attention, primarily from females, who claimed he had the voice of a nightingale.
Pryme Tyme never missed an opportunity to entertain his family and friends, and with his popularity as an artiste growing, he soon found himself in demand to perform at local concerts. By 1983, he was a billed act appearing in concerts. He also entered talent competitions at both the local and regional level where he won medals and various other prizes.
Additionally, he was contracted to the Roof Night Club in Ocho Rios, St Ann. Jamaica as an in-house entertainer/ singer for some time, as well as being a full time selector / Disc Jockey for the sound system Terminator.
Pryme Tyme later migrated to the United State of America where he continued to work towards pursuing his career in music establishing his own production company: Pryme House Productions in New Jersey. In 2000, he released his first hit single "Cassandra" in New Jersey on the Raggedy Label. This single was well received by his fans, which in turn boosted his record sales.
Pryme Tyme continues is hard work by writing and releasing songs on the Pryme House Production Label which is currently doing well in New Jersey.
